A new vision for television

New autistic superhero AJ Gadget solves problems with brain power and science.

There’s little representation of children with disabilities on TV, but there’s a new superhero to the rescue! Animated kids show Hero Elementary features a protagonist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The show follows budding superheroes who learn to master their powers.

“The series aims to give children ages 4 to 7 the tools to solve problems by thinking and acting like scientists and igniting their natural curiosity and empathy.”
